We must retain and recruit the best with competitive compensation, including benefits
But...management refuses to address preventing great educators from having to drive hours to work because they can't afford to live closer to their schools
Cost of living went up over 4% in the San Francisco Bay Area last year. A 3% salary increase does not meet it. It also does not address high class sizes, low number of nurses, a living wage for educators, or a quality learning environment for our students.

Special Education classes have for years been recommended to be smaller by collaborative (management and SRVEA) Special Education Task Force but senior district management has hidden those recommendations from the public
